Description

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the telehandler efficiently and safely to transport construction materials and equipment around the site.
Load and unload goods from transport vehicles and place materials in designated storage or usage areas.
Conduct daily equipment checks, including inspection of hydraulics, tires, fluids, and controls, and report any faults promptly.
Adhere strictly to all site safety rules and company procedures to ensure a risk-free work environment.
Work closely with supervisors, logistics teams, and tradesmen to meet site material handling needs.
Support with material handling duties, including assisting other site machinery where necessary.
Perform basic upkeep tasks to keep the machine in optimal working condition.
Record and report material handling activities and movement logs accurately.

Requirements:

Valid Telehandler Operator License or Certification from a recognized training institution.
Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience operating a telehandler in a construction or industrial setting.
Solid knowledge of health and safety practices in heavy equipment operations.
Ability to read and follow site plans, layout drawings, and verbal instructions.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Physically fit with the stamina to work in demanding outdoor environments.
Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious mindset.
