Good day to all!

Our company is looking for a JUNIOR ENGINEER with the following qualifications and will have the below duties/ responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. has bachelor's degree or diploma in either Mechanical/ Electrical/ Industrial Engineering
2. good communication skills in oral or written English
3. has good computer skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Conduct daily walkthroughs of the facility to assess the condition of equipment, IT infrastructure, and utilities.
2. Inspect HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other critical systems to ensure proper operation and efficiency.
3. Monitor the Building Management System (BMS) and other control systems for alerts, alarms, or irregularities.
4. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service complaints from staff or departments.
5. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, or utility - related issues efficiently and safely.
6. Ensure that all scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) activities are completed as per the maintenance calendar.
7. Coordinate with technicians and external contractors to perform timely servicing and repairs of all equipment.
8. Verify that all maintenance activities comply with safety, quality, and operational standards.
9. Maintain and regularly update maintenance logs, checklists, and incident reports.
10. Immediately report any major issues, safety hazards, or equipment breakdowns to the Facility Manager or relevant department.
11. Conduct routine inspections of fire alarm panels, firefighting systems, and emergency lighting.
12. Enforce compliance with safety protocols, PPE requirements, and site access control for all staff and vendors.
13. Supervise external contractors/ AMC’s (cleaning, pest control, elevators, generators, solar systems, etc) to ensure safe and compliant operations.
14. Monitor energy and water consumption, identifying performance issues or anomalies in critical systems.
15. Recommend and implement initiatives to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.
16. Oversee space utilization, office layout modifications, and furniture relocations as required.
17. Maintain an updated inventory of facility assets and coordinate timely repairs or replacements.
18. Ensure facility readiness and remain on standby in the control room for proactive response during VIP visits or special events.
19. Coordinate with the operations team to gather details of upcoming meetings, classes, programs, or events for facility support planning.
20. Manage and close all helpdesk tickets and facility - related requests in a timely and efficient manner.
21. Provide technical support in setting up power, lighting, and infrastructure arrangements for internal events and daily operations.
22. Guide and assign daily tasks to junior technicians, housekeeping, and support teams.
23. Ensure all team members follow approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to assigned work schedules.
24. Generate monthly FM reports, such as monthly reports, incident report, etc
