Description

We are looking for someone with a strong background in school HR and specific expertise in the regulations governed by the Ministry of Education (MOE), the School Information System (SIO), and the Labor Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA).

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle for academic and administrative staff, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and contract generation, adhering to MOE requirements for teacher certification and licensing.

Compliance & Administration: Ensure all HR practices and documentation (contracts, visas, work permits) are in strict compliance with LMRA regulations and school internal policies.

Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate employee records within the School Information System (SIO) and other HR databases. Prepare reports on staffing, turnover, and compliance for the school management and external regulatory bodies (MOE, LMRA).

Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for staff inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and local labor laws. Manage disciplinary and grievance procedures in line with best practice and legal mandates.

Policy Development: Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures specific to the school environment.

Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 1 year in a school or educational setting. 🏫

Mandatory: In-depth, practical working knowledge of regulations and procedures related to:

Ministry of Education (MOE) / Local Education Authority: Staff clearance, teacher contracts, qualifications, and licensing requirements.

School Information System (SIO): Experience with staff data input, maintenance, and compliance reporting within the system.

Labor Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA): Expertise in labor laws, work permits, and visa processing for expatriate staff.

Proficiency in HRIS/HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
