Description

We are seeking a Purchase Coordinator to join our growing pharmacy group in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end procurement process for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and healthcare supplies, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and timely availability of products across all branches. Location: Bahrain; Languages Required: English (Fluent), Malayalam(Fluent), Arabic (Medium proficiency). Procurement Management
• Coordinate and execute purchasing activities for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and healthcare supplies.
• Maintain optimal stock levels across all branches by monitoring usage and sales trends.
• Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery from suppliers.

Supplier & Vendor Coordination
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, price, and delivery time.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with vendors.

Inventory & System Management
• Work closely with inventory and store teams to monitor stock levels.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team for receiving and stock transfers.
• Update procurement records in inventory management systems or ERP platforms.
• Check and manage expired or short-expiry medicines and take necessary actions.

Quality & Compliance
• Ensure all procured items meet regulatory and quality standards.
• Collaborate with quality control and regulatory affairs teams for product compliance.
• Address issues related to damaged or non-compliant products.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement (preferably in pharmacy or healthcare retail).
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products and vendor networks.
• Proficiency in procurement or ERP systems.
