Roles & Responsibilities

Position: Mechanical Engineer

Specialization: MEP Construction


We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in MEP (Plumbing) construction to join our well reputed construction company in the Kingdom of Bahrain.


Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate mechanical aspects of MEP construction projects, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems.

• Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to ensure compliance with design, codes, and standards.

• Supervise site activities to ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.

• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Perform quality control inspections and ensure adherence to safety regulations and project timelines.

• Support the preparation of material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in MEP construction projects in the Gulf region (preferred)

• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, chilled water networks, plumbing systems, and fire fighting systems

• Proficient in AutoCAD and other MEP-related software tools

• Strong project management and communication skills
