Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD 2D/3D Joinery Draftsman with a strong background in architectural and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing detailed shop drawings, joinery details, and construction documentation using AutoCAD. Experience in joinery and custom furniture detailing is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for joinery works including cabinetry, doors, wardrobes, kitchen units, counters, panels, partitions, and other bespoke woodwork.

Interpret architectural and interior design drawings and convert them into accurate joinery shop drawings.

Develop technical drawings for cutting lists, sections, elevations, and assembly diagrams.

Coordinate with project managers, architects, and production teams to ensure technical accuracy and design intent.

Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, project specifications, and local regulations.

Revise drawings based on feedback from clients, engineers, or production.

Maintain organized documentation of drawing revisions and project records.

Collaborate closely with the factory or workshop to support manufacturing processes.

Requirements:

Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D is mandatory.

Solid understanding of joinery materials, construction techniques, hardware, and finishes.

Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings and specifications.

Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Knowledge of other design software (e.g., SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Experience working in a manufacturing or joinery production environment is an advantage.

Familiarity with CNC files preparation and material optimization is a plus.
