ob Role: Accountant Assistant

Position Overview:
The Accountant Assistant supports the finance and accounting department by performing routine clerical and accounting tasks. This role ensures accurate financial records, assists in daily bookkeeping, and provides administrative support for smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, ledgers, and reports.

Handle data entry of invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.

Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.

Assist in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processing.

Maintain accurate filing and documentation of financial transactions.

Prepare vouchers, bills, and supporting documents for auditing purposes.

Support the finance team with budgeting and expense tracking.

Respond to vendor and client queries related to billing or payments.

Provide administrative support to accountants and auditors when needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.

Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or MS Excel).

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and organizational skills.
