Description

-Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge;
-Cut and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall, using hand and power tools, and install the materials;
-Prepare layouts and blueprints by taking measurements, calculating angles, and determining materials requirements;
-Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks and props, using hand-held tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue;
-Erect scaffolding or other platforms as necessary to complete work;
-Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures;
-Manage and organize tools, materials, and equipment used on the job site;
