Teaching Assistants – Special Education

Full-time / Part-time | Training provided

We’re hiring compassionate Teaching Assistants to support students with autism and related communication/behavioral needs.

What you’ll do

Support individualized education plans (IEPs) in small groups and 1:1.

Implement behavior and communication strategies under supervision.

Collect simple data on student progress.

Assist with classroom routines, sensory/regulation activities, and life skills.

Partner with teachers, therapists, and families.

Training

Paid onboarding and ongoing CPD in:

ABA-informed classroom practices

Visual supports/TEACCH

Communication supports (PECS, AAC)

Positive behavior support & safeguarding

Requirements

Background (degree or diploma) in Psychology, Speech & Language, Education/Teaching, or related field.

Strong communication, patience, and teamwork.

Willingness to learn and follow evidence-based practices.

Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.

Nice to have

Experience with autism, SEN classrooms, or therapy settings.

Familiarity with ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, or AFLS.

Location: A'Ali

Schedule: 8 hours/5days; start date October

Compensation & benefits: 250-350
