A leading financial service provider in the region is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join the firm

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries with precision.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and company policies.
• Coordinate and support external audits and liaise with auditors.
• Monitor and improve internal controls, accounting systems, and processes.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed.

Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or CPA/ACCA/CA desired).
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and local tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho, QuickBooks, Tally, Oracle, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work across departments.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
