Roles & Responsibilities:

-Analyse shop drawings and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.

-Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.

-Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.

-Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.

-Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.

-Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.

-Should be able to check and take site measurements to prepare estimation.

-Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time and raw material, equipment, and labor expenses

-Travel to job sites to gather information on materials needed, labor requirements, and other factors

-Read blueprints and technical documents to prepare estimates

-Collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, and contractors on estimates

-Evaluate a product’s cost effectiveness or profitability

-Recommend ways to make a product more cost effective or profitable

Requirements :-

Minimum 2 to 5 yrs of Experience as Estimator (in joinery and fit out industry)

Diploma – Civil / Interior / Joinery or equivalent experience

Should be having experience in Joinery & Fit outs and Furniture manufacturing industries.

Strong analytical, communication, and mathematical skills.

Gender - Male or Female

Salary - 350 to 750 BHD (No Over Time)
