Description

We are seeking an experienced Port Captain to oversee vessel operations, port coordination, and maritime safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ship management, port logistics, and regulatory adherence to ensure smooth and efficient port calls.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact between ship crews, port authorities, agents, and terminal operators.
Supervise vessel arrivals, departures, cargo operations, and bunkering to ensure timely port turnarounds.
Monitor compliance with IMO, ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL, and port state regulations.
Coordinate with stevedores, pilots, and tug operators to optimize berthing schedules.
Oversee crew changes, provisions, and spare parts logistics for vessels in port.
Conduct vessel inspections to ensure seaworthiness, safety, and environmental standards.
Investigate incidents, near-misses, or delays and implement corrective actions.
Prepare port call reports, cost analyses, and operational performance reviews.
