Job Title: Spa Therapist – Thai & Moroccan
🧠 Job Summary:
A Spa Therapist specializing in Thai and Moroccan treatments provides high-quality massage and spa services to clients using traditional techniques such as Thai yoga massage and Moroccan hammam rituals. The therapist ensures a relaxing and rejuvenating experience while maintaining hygiene, professionalism, and a welcoming atmosphere.

🧾 Key Responsibilities:
1. Thai Massage Duties:
Perform traditional Thai massages, including stretching, acupressure, and yoga-like postures.

Customize techniques based on client needs (e.g., Thai oil massage, reflexology).

Ensure proper body alignment and use of pressure points.

2. Moroccan Treatments:
Perform Moroccan Hammam rituals, including:

Black soap (beldi) application

Exfoliation using kessa glove

Ghassoul (clay) mask treatment

Prepare and operate the steam room/hammam environment.

Educate clients on the benefits of Moroccan detox rituals.

3. General Spa Therapist Duties:
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment and treatment areas.

Assess client needs and contraindications.

Provide aftercare advice and promote wellness products or services.

Maintain confidentiality and build positive rapport with guests.

Manage appointments and client records, if required.

🛠️ Skills & Competencies:
Deep knowledge of Thai traditional healing techniques.

Proficiency in Moroccan hammam protocols.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical stamina and flexibility.

Attention to hygiene and detail.

Cultural sensitivity and client-focused approach.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience:
Certification or Diploma in Thai Massage and/or Spa Therapy from a recognized institute.

Hammam training or certification in Moroccan spa treatments.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a spa or wellness center.

Basic English communication (Arabic or Thai is a plus depending on location).

First aid or CPR training is an added advantage.

🕰️ Typical Work Environment:
Luxury spa resorts, wellness centers, or high-end hotels.

May require flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
