A pastry chef is a member of a professional kitchen, usually in a restaurant or hotel, who creates pastries and desserts. While they might know how to bake a variety of items, they typically specialize in desserts. They're trained chefs who create dessert menus and pastry displays.
. Skills:
- Proficient in all aspects of pastry.
- Expertise in French pastries, including croissants and other French sweets.
- Knowledge of preparing English sweets.
- General oversight and understanding of other kitchen operations.
Chef Profile & Experience:
• Expert in artisan patisserie, with strong skills in pastry, chocolate work, and cake production.
• Must have experience in managing the baked section, the chocolate section
• Open to any nationality, but preference for candidates who have worked in GCC countries, especially Kuwait, to ensure familiarity with local tastes and preferences.
• Must have a portfolio showcasing their work (photos of products they have created).
