Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Analyze financial data to support business decision-making.

Ensure timely submission of reports to senior management and regulatory authorities.

General Ledger Oversight

Supervise day-to-day operations of the general accounting department.

Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure compliance with tax laws, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP), and company policies.

Coordinate internal and external audits.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

Monitor actual results against budget and report variances.

Team Management

Lead and mentor the accounting team.

Evaluate performance and provide training as needed.

Internal Controls

Develop and enforce robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Review and refine accounting procedures and policies.

Liaison Functions

Act as a point of contact for banks, auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.

Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)

Leadership and team management skills

High attention to detail and organizational skills

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred)

Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is highly desirable

Minimum 5–7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or senior role
