Salary: 400-450 BHD
Reports To: Drilling Superintendent / Operations Manager

CANDIDATE MUST BE IN BAHRAIN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and safety-focused Rig Supervisor to oversee day-to-day drilling and completion operations at the rig site. The Rig Supervisor ensures all activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies, regulatory standards, and the drilling program.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate all drilling, completion, and workover operations on site.
• Enforce HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) standards and ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
• Manage rig personnel, service companies, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor well progress, daily costs, and logistics; provide accurate reporting to the operations team.
• Ensure operations follow the drilling program and recommend adjustments when necessary.
• Lead daily safety and operations meetings with rig crews and third-party contractors.
• Oversee equipment inspections, maintenance, and ensure readiness for operations.
• Respond quickly to emergencies or operational problems and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with geological, engineering, and production teams to ensure coordination across disciplines.


Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in drilling operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of drilling operations, well control, and rig equipment.
• Valid Well Control Certification (e.g., IWCF or IADC Well Sharp).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in drilling software and reporting tools.
