Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll / HR Officer to manage and oversee our organization’s payroll processes and HR administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced knowledge of Excel, and a solid understanding of payroll software and HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
Prepare monthly payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, labor regulations, and internal policies.
Generate payroll cost sheets and departmental payroll allocations.
HR Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare HR weekly reports, salary review analysis, and performance evaluation summaries.
Maintain accurate records for employee compensation and benefits.
Final Settlements & Benefits:
Process final settlements, including calculation of gratuity, leave encashments, and other end-of-service benefits.
Prepare and track air ticket entitlements and reports.
Attendance & Leave Management:
Review and verify employee attendance records.
Coordinate with department heads to resolve discrepancies in attendance or leave reports.
HR Systems & Documentation:
Maintain employee records in the HRMS and ensure data accuracy.
Support in HR audits and compliance checks.
Performance Management Support:
Assist in the development and tracking of employee KPIs.
Support the performance evaluation and appraisal process.
Other Responsibilities:
Support recruitment and on boarding processes.
Assist in HR policy development and implementation.
Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll and HR functions.
Advanced Excel skills (including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas).
Proficient in PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
Experience with HR software or ERP systems .
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
