Job Title: Dispatch Officer
Location: Sitra, Bahrain

Reports to: Operations Manager

The Dispatch Officer is responsible for coordinating and managing the scheduling and dispatching of heavy transport vehicles, drivers, and loads. This role ensures timely delivery of goods and services, compliance with transport regulations, and effective communication between drivers, customers, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:
* Schedule and dispatch heavy-duty trucks and trailers for delivery and pickup of materials and equipment.
* Coordinate driver assignments and monitor real-time vehicle locations using GPS.
* Ensure accurate documentation for each trip including bills, delivery orders, and purchase orders.
* Communicate with drivers to provide routing information, delivery instructions, and handle any issues that arise during transit.
* Maintain daily records of vehicle logs, fuel usage, maintenance schedules, and load reports.
* Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
* Liaise with clients to confirm delivery schedules and resolve complaints or delays.
* Monitor load weights, dimensions, and permits required for oversized or heavy cargo.
* Assist in optimizing routes to reduce fuel costs, delivery times, and vehicle wear-and-tear.
* Report operational issues and contribute to continuous improvement in dispatch procedures.
