We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
2. Operate cash registers, scanners, and other point-of-sale (POS) equipment
3. Process payments (cash, credit, benefit) and provide receipts
4. Ensure accurate transaction processing and handle cash with care
5. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
6. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
7. Follow company policies and procedures

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
2. Previous cashier or customer service experience (preferred)
3. Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
6. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
7. Ability to join immediately
