Reports To: Salon Manager

Job Summary:
As a Receptionist at Amwaj Salon, you will be the first point of contact for our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting clients, managing appointments, and ensuring a welcoming and organized environment. You will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the salon’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome clients as they arrive at the salon.
Manage appointment bookings and cancellations efficiently.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, prices, and availability.
Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
Process payments and handle cash register operations.
Assist with client check-in and check-out procedures.
Promote salon services and products to clients.
Coordinate with stylists and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
Handle any client complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
Maintain confidentiality of client information.
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in office administration or customer service are a plus.
Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficient in using computer systems and booking software.
Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
