Description

We are looking for a skilled Car Painter and Paint Mixer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, mixing, and applying paint to vehicles, ensuring a flawless finish. This role combines expertise in automotive painting with precision in mixing colors to achieve the desired results.

Key Responsibilities
Car Painter Duties:
1.Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, priming, masking, and cleaning.
2.Apply paint, lacquer, or other coatings using spray guns or brushes to achieve a smooth and even finish.
3.Match colors accurately to restore vehicles to their original condition.
4.Polish and buff painted surfaces for a high-quality finish.
5.Inspect painted vehicles for defects such as runs, sags, or uneven coverage and make necessary corrections.
6.Maintain tools, equipment, and the paint booth in excellent condition.

Paint Mixer Duties:
1.Mix automotive paints (solvent or water-based) according to specifications and formulas.
2.Match paint colors precisely to ensure consistency with the vehicle’s original color.
3.Measure and combine pigments, binders, and additives to achieve the desired color and viscosity.
4.Perform routine quality checks on paint mixtures to ensure accuracy.
5.Maintain inventory of paints, materials, and supplies; reorder as needed.
6.Clean and maintain paint mixing machines, tools, and the mixing room.

Requirements
1.Proven experience as a Car Painter or Paint Mixer (3+ years preferred).
2.Strong knowledge of automotive painting techniques and tools (e.g., spray guns).
3.Expertise in color matching and mixing paints accurately.
4.Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
5.Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing, bending, lifting).
6.Familiarity with safety protocols when handling paints and chemicals.

Preferred Skills
1.Experience with modern automotive painting technologies (e.g., water-based paints).
2.Knowledge of paintless dent repair techniques is an advantage.
3.Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
