Reports To:

Service Supervisor
Service Engineer (in absence of Service Supervisor)
Job Purpose:
To attend to customer complaints, perform unit breakdown troubleshooting, and carry out on-site rectifications. Ensure completion of scheduled plans, including Installation/Work (I/W), Out-of-Warranty (O/W) services, and Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS) under Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC). Execute all tasks with a focus on efficiency, customer satisfaction, and safety.

Working Relationships:

Internal: Manufacturing, Quality Assurance (QA), Design, Local Sales & Service Team
External: Individual Clients, Business-to-Business (B2B) Clients
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Installation & Maintenance:
Execute installations, re-fixings, preventive maintenance (PM) services, and repairs on customer products either on-site or at the service center/depot.
Perform modifications or retrofits on existing systems when necessary.
Provide troubleshooting assistance to customers over the phone, as needed.
Emergency Maintenance:
Carry out emergency corrective maintenance in the field, demonstrating proficiency with HVAC products, Split & RAC units, tools, and equipment.
Deliver solutions with detailed troubleshooting and system diagnosis.
Service Target Achievement:
Meet service targets, achieving 90% of calls within 48 hours as per RTAT goals.
Maintain re-job/callbacks below 3%.
Documentation & Reporting:
Complete job-related documentation, including job cards, delivery notes, and real-time updates in the TAB system.
Report quality and service issues to the supervisor, ensuring all issues are documented and addressed.
Financial Management:
Ensure timely execution of service tasks and proper invoicing, including issuing quotes and processing cash receipts.
Monitor and control service-related expenditures.
Spare Parts Management:
Assist in identifying repair parts and ensure the availability of spares.
Maintain vehicle inventories with the necessary spare parts and stock.
Customer Support & Relations:
Provide technical support and resolve issues for customers, distributors, dealers, and hypermarkets.
Maintain customer satisfaction through quality service and professional conduct.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to safety standards at all customer locations and office premises.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental guidelines, and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.
Professional Development:
Continuously update technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and training sessions.
Enroll in in-house or on-site training programs to improve technical, communication, and hands-on skills.
Vehicle Maintenance & Operations:
Maintain the company vehicle according to policies and service schedules.
Safely transport equipment and materials between customer sites, service depots, and offices.
Problem-Solving & Product Solutions:
Work closely with customers to develop solutions, investigating product issues, and following product development directives.
Provide detailed analysis and data for service issues, including photos and reports in the TAB system.
Qualifications & Experience:

Education: High school diploma (or equivalent).
Experience: 2-5 years in HVAC or similar technical roles.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and installations.
Familiarity with safety procedures and the ability to perform in emergency situations.
Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and troubleshooting assistance.
Ability to handle documentation, invoicing, and service reports efficiently.

Additional Requirements:

Valid driving license with a clean driving record (not Necessary)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel within the country for field calls.
