About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced part-time Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to manage cost estimation, procurement, and budget oversight for the. Your expertise will ensure the project remains financially viable, compliant with Bahraini regulations, and aligned with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs using project drawings and specifications.

Develop, monitor, and refine the project budget, identifying risks of cost overruns.

Lead procurement processes, including supplier negotiations, quotations, and material/equipment orders.

Conduct interim valuations, variation assessments, and final account settlements with contractors.

Maintain meticulous records of financial documentation (estimates, invoices, payment certificates).

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with Bahraini construction practices and market rates.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

Certifications: RICS membership or equivalent (preferred).

Experience:

3–5+ years in quantity surveying/cost estimation, ideally on construction projects.

Proven track record in procurement and budget control.

Bahrain project experience (strongly preferred).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam).

Advanced knowledge of construction pricing, contract administration, and local regulations.

Language: Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency (preferred).

Skills:

Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

Precision in financial documentation and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills for stakeholder coordination.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with facilities or public-sector projects.

Familiarity with Bahraini procurement laws and tender processes.
