Overview: We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials, with the ability to produce high-quality work in various settings. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard, while ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine specifications and materials required for projects.
Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand and power tools.
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures, including frameworks, doors, windows, and furniture.
Ensure that all work is completed according to specifications, with attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure seamless project execution.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and best practices.
Estimate materials and labor costs for projects, and assist in budgeting and scheduling.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is preferred.
Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficient in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Excellent mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Good physical condition and stamina, with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
Work Environment: Carpenters typically work in a variety of settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites. The role may involve working outdoors in various weather conditions, as well as in confined or elevated spaces.

Salary: BD 150 + Staff accommodation + ticket after finish two year contract
