JD for Spray Painter

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Sand the flat surfaces and corners of the wooden items.
2. Operation of sanding machine for large flat surface items.
3. Operation of orbital manual sanding machine
4. Brush, spray and hand rub finishing agents such as basecoat, paint, oil, wax for semi-finished wood items
5. Fill and smooth cracks or depressions, remove marks or imperfections
6. Mix paints to obtain desired colors or shades
7. Remove accessories and mask areas that should not be exposed to finishing processes or substances
8. Smooth shape and touch up surfaces to prepare them for finishing using sandpaper, chisels, sanders etc.
9. Painting using spray gun and other painting equipment
10. Assure that the daily/weekly schedule is completed.
11. Assure that work practices are in the guidelines of OSHA standards and ISO requirements.
12. Follow all company rules and policies.
13. Assure that all products are built to the highest standard of quality.
14. Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
15. Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:
• Trade school or equivalent working experience
• Must have knowledge in Furniture painting (Mixing, Spraying Touch up, repairs, attention to design and detail)
• 1-2 years’ experience, GCC preferred
• New materials and methods related to designated trade (Carpentry, Upholstery, Painting, CNC Machinery)

Salary Range : 120 BD to 150 BD
