Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for managing the register, processing customer orders, and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the register, including processing credit card and cash transactions.
Process customer orders using the POS system.
Relay customer orders to kitchen staff accurately and promptly.
Follow all cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and security.
Package food orders in the appropriate bags and boxes for delivery.
Monitor orders to ensure timely and correct delivery.
Assist kitchen staff with tasks as needed.
Provide excellent customer service through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Adhere to health regulations and safety standards, including checking product expiry dates.
Manage daily ordering of food and supplies.
Ensure smooth handover of pending tasks to the following shift.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in a cashier or similar role, preferably in a restaurant setting (an advantage).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Flexible availability to work various shifts as needed.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
Ability to follow health and safety regulations consistently.
