Description

Roles and Responsibilities:
? Considerable knowledge of the standard practices, methods, materials, and tools of the insulating trade.
? Considerable knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade.
? Installs insulation on steam, hot water, chill water, refrigeration lines, piping and fittings, and air conditioning ducts.
? Covers insulation on pipes with canvas and installs vapor barriers, waterproofing products, and metal protection sheets.
? Receives work orders and carries out insulation duties.
? Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• 2 + years of experience in the relevant field.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a journeyman insulator; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Skill in the use of standard tools and equipment of the insulating trade.
• Good communication skill.
