Responsibilities:
Interpret design specifications and patterns to prepare accurate fabric cutting plans.
Operate cutting machines and tools with precision to ensure high-quality fabric cuts.
Supervise and train cutting staff to maintain efficiency and accuracy in the cutting process.
Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure alignment on garment styles and specifications.
Monitor fabric usage and minimize waste to optimize material costs.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all cutting operations.
Requirements:
Extensive experience as a cutter in the apparel or sportswear industry, with a strong understanding of garment construction.
Proficiency in using cutting machines and tools.
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret patterns and technical drawings.
Strong communication and leadership skills to manage a team effectively.
