Description

As our Event Decorator, you’ll be at the forefront of bringing life to the look and feel of each occasion. From conceptualizing innovative themes to sourcing and arranging d?cor elements, you will ensure that every detail conveys the client’s story and style.

Key Responsibilities
Design & Conceptualization

Collaborate with clients and event planners to develop overall themes and styles.
Create mood boards and sketches to help illustrate design ideas.
Procurement & Vendor Relations

Source d?cor items (linens, florals, props, and lighting fixtures) that align with project budgets and timelines.
Negotiate contracts and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
On-Site Installation & Coordination

Oversee the set-up of decorative elements, ensuring quality and consistent aesthetics.
Work closely with venue staff and fellow event professionals to coordinate a seamless installation.
Budgeting & Time Management

Estimate costs for d?cor supplies and maintain expense records.
Plan schedules that meet client deadlines, including any last-minute changes or adaptations.
Teardown & Post-Event Follow-Up

Supervise the removal and proper storage or return of rental items.
Review event feedback and assess d?cor success to continuously improve future designs.
Qualifications & Skills
Creativity: Ability to think outside the box and translate abstract ideas into polished designs.
Attention to Detail: Keen eye for color schemes, placement, and styling consistency.
Organizational Skills: Capable of juggling multiple tasks, tracking expenses, and meeting deadlines.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for working with clients and coordinating with team members.
Physical Stamina: Comfortable with extended periods of standing, bending, and lifting.
Experience: Previous roles in event d?cor, interior design, or related fields are highly valued.
