Description

*Hiring - Production & Operation Manager*
The Production & Operation Manager is accountable for all the aspects linked to the manufacturing of wooden materials within the organization. The candidate is responsible for overseeing different production processes related to manufacture of furniture and wooden products, procurement of raw material which is not stocked in the company warehouse as well as administrative activities within the workshop

*Management Activities*
• Overall responsible for managing and overseeing the entire manufacturing operations within the organization
• Monitor the workshop staff with the help of workshop supervisor and ensure high level of efficiency
• Ensure efficient management of different production processes
• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures within the workshop
• Facilitate smooth co-ordination of workshop with HO with respect to procurement, sales as well as financial activities (like reporting, invoicing, etc.)
• Facilitate the training of new staff by senior and experienced staff
*Operational Activities*
• Ensure adherence to the defined turnaround time for all the jobs executed within the workshop
• Manage and ensure quality standards of the manufactured wooden products
• Ensure proper development and execution of staffing schedule for on-site projects at customer locations in coordination with the Head of Project Sales
• Ensuring healthy, safe and hygienic working conditions for the workshop staff with assistance from the Safety executive
• Providing inputs for finding innovative design solutions for different jobs
Facilitate the co-ordination between workshop and different department with respect to the following activities:-

With Finance department for progressive billing of jobs

With Inventory for raw material required for respective jobs

With Procurement for purchase of local and international products required for production as well as projects

With Design for clarification on different design aspects and to understand customer requirements

With Administration department at HO for procurement planning of general items including office supplies, pantry supplies, etc.

With Project sales for daily site visits and project execution at outside locations

Salary & benefits

. Min 10yrs GCC experience
• Visa : Provided

• Annual leave: 30days paid leave
