Description

Almoayyed Contracting Group in Bahrain is looking for an Accountant.

The Division Accountant oversees the financial operations of a particular division, such as preparing financial statements, budgets, and various finance reports, ensuring accurate documentation and timely invoicing. They manage cash flow, collections, petty cash, timesheets, and contract updates while maintaining confidentiality and pursuing professional development.

Accountant Responsibilities:

- Prepares and analyzes entries related to assets, liabilities, and capital accounts.
- Documents financial transactions and reports them to the Divisional/Accounts Manager.
- Reviews budgets, staff timesheets, work plans, and internal billing statements.
- Provides timely financial reports, budgets, and project forecasts to divisional managers and clients.
- Prepares pre-billing reports, actual cost reports, working capital reports, and tax reports.
- Monitors receivables, supports the collections process and handles petty cash.
- Issues invoices, purchase orders, and processes payments to vendors, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Ensures a steady cash flow by auditing accounts and sending invoices promptly.
- Updates contracts and reports any budget amendments.
- Maintains financial confidentiality and stays informed about industry developments through workshops and networking.
- Contributes to team goals by completing related tasks.

Desired:.

• 3 – 6 years of GCC experience in a similar capacity.
• Preference for male candidates.
• Priority for immediate joiners.
