Description

We are a leading MEP Contracting company based in Bahrain, and we are currently looking for an experienced HVAC Draftsman to join our Air Conditioning Division. This challenging role involves preparing detailed HVAC system drawings, including mechanical plans, sections, equipment schedules, and materials quantification, and ensuring the successful completion of projects within the given timeframes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use CAD software and other design tools to produce high-quality HVAC system drawings.
• Utilize specialized software for pipe and duct sizing, such as Pipe Sizer and Duct Sizer.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, plumbing, structural, interior design) for system compatibility.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements.
• Assist in designing HVAC systems to meet industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all drawings and modifications.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes and safety regulations.
• Modify drawings based on feedback or changes in project scope.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and verify implementation.
• Address design challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Support installation by resolving drawing-related issues on-site.
• Review drawings for accuracy and completeness before final submission.

Essential Qualifications:

• ITI/Diploma or equivalent in a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in GCC

Preferred:

• Male candidates are preferred for this role.
