Position Overview: The Warehouse / Site Supervisor with a background in Sales & Operations will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a warehouse or Sales site. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that the warehouse and Site runs efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company policies and regulations.
Here are the key job responsibilities of a Supervisor:
- Supervise Warehouse Site Team: Manage a team of warehouse workers, including sales team, mechanic, forklift operators, Drivers and general laborers.
- Stock Control: Oversee the receipt, storage, and issue / sales of goods in the warehouse.
- Inventory Audits: Conduct regular inventory counts and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Inventory Reporting: Maintain records of stock levels and report inventory status to management, including identifying stock shortages, damages or overstock situations.
- Warehouse Organization: Ensure that the warehouse is organized, clean, and complies with safety and health regulations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyor belts, pallet jacks) is regularly maintained and in safe working condition.
- Safety Procedures: Ensure that all warehouse employees follow proper safety guidelines and procedures, such as wearing PPE (personal protective equipment) and safe material handling practices.
- Accident Reporting: Investigate workplace accidents or injuries and take corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Compliance with Regulations: Ensure that the warehouse is compliant with local, state, and federal laws related to workplace safety, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
- Shipping & Receiving: Oversee the shipping and receiving process, ensuring goods are properly documented, inspected, and stored.
- Oversee Company’s Vehicles: Supervise vehicles and drivers for shipping goods to customers on timely basis.
Team Leadership and Management
- Supervise and mentor sales staff: Provide guidance, training, and support to sales representatives to improve performance and product knowledge.
- Build and maintain customer relationships: Ensure that sales reps foster strong, long-term relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Promote customer satisfaction: Ensure that customer expectations are met and exceeded through excellent service and timely follow-ups.
- Reporting to Management: Provide regular updates and reports to upper management regarding warehouse performance, inventory levels, shipping and receiving metrics, and staffing issues.
- Cross-Departmental Communication: Work closely with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order processing and accurate delivery timelines.

- Ability to use warehouse management software and related technologies.
Job Requirements
o Bachelor's or Master’s degree in related field.
o At least five years of experience in similar role.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work under pressure.
o Excellent organizational skills.
