Professional Barista Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista with at least 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional coffee experiences, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, and cold brews.

Operate and maintain coffee equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders.

Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.

Ensure cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and surrounding areas.

Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Manage inventory of coffee supplies and assist with restocking as needed.

Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and efficient workspace.


Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a barista in a high-volume coffee shop or similar environment.

Proficiency in latte art and knowledge of coffee preparation techniques.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Experience with specialty coffee or willingness to learn about advanced brewing methods is a plus.
