Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Bahrain
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Managing Director

Job Summary:

The Finance Manager will play a key role in managing the financial health of the company by overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control processes. This position is responsible for ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies and regulations while working closely with various departments to provide insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making. The Finance Manager will also collaborate with senior management to support financial planning, forecasting, and the overall financial strategy of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed analysis and reporting on financial performance against goals and key financial metrics.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow forecasts, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and financial regulations.

Cost Management: Monitor, control, and reduce operational costs, conducting financial analysis to identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities.

Cash Flow Management: Ensure effective cash flow management, forecasting future cash flow needs, and identifying funding requirements.

Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that the company complies with all financial, legal, and regulatory requirements, and manage financial risks by developing and implementing robust financial controls and processes.

Audit & Taxation: Coordinate and support external audits, prepare for tax filings, and work with auditors and tax consultants to ensure timely and accurate submissions.

Financial Systems & Tools: Oversee the maintenance and improvement of financial systems, ensuring that accurate data is available for decision-making.

Leadership: Manage and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective operations and development of staff.

Strategic Financial Support: Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management and other departments, contributing to overall business growth and performance.

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CFA is a plus).
Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Proficient in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in handling or overseeing multiple companies
Proven track record in cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
