Description

The Stores and Purchase Associate is responsible for managing inventory and procurement processes, ensuring that stock levels are maintained efficiently and that purchases are made according to company needs. This role involves coordinating with vendors, handling stock, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.

• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock is available for operations, including monitoring stock movements and conducting regular stock audits.
• Procurement: Process purchase orders based on inventory needs and departmental requests, and ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
• Vendor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate prices, delivery terms, and resolve any issues related to shipments or orders.
• Receiving and Inspection: Manage the receipt of goods, including verifying quantities and inspecting for quality, and ensure proper documentation for all received items.
• Stock Replenishment: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchasing department to reorder products as needed to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, purchases, and suppliers. Update and manage inventory management systems to reflect current stock levels and order statuses.
• Reporting: Prepare and analyze reports related to inventory levels, purchase orders, and supplier performance, and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Warehouse Organization: Ensure the storage area is organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations. Implement best practices for efficient stock management and handling.
• Customer Service: Address inquiries and concerns related to inventory and purchasing from internal departments or external customers.
