Looking for IT specialist- application system developer
Should be in bahrain
Posses a bachelor degree in Information technology or computer science or equivalent
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications tailored to the needs of the school.
2. Collaborate with educators and administration to gather requirements and develop solutions.
3. Perform regular updates and maintenance of existing software and systems.
4. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
5. Provide technical support to staff and students, addressing hardware and software issues.
6. Conduct training sessions for users on new software applications or systems.
7. Design and manage databases to ensure the integrity and availability of school data.
8. Implement data backup and recovery processes.
9. Assist in the setup and maintenance of the school’s network infrastructure, ensuring connectivity and security.
10. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
11. Create and maintain technical documentation for software development, system processes, and user guides.
12. Document issues and resolutions to enhance the knowledge base.
13. Implement security protocols to protect sensitive data and school information systems.
14. Regularly update and patch software and systems to mitigate vulnerabilities.
15. Participate in project planning and management activities for IT initiatives.
16. Track progress and report on the status of ongoing projects to stakeholders.
17. Work with other IT staff and departments to ensure cohesive operation and integration of technology solutions.
18. Communicate effectively with non-technical staff to understand their needs and how technology can support them.
19. Stay updated with the latest technology trends and tools that can benefit the school.
20. Evaluate and recommend new software and hardware solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
21. Manage school website.
