Description

We are seeking an experienced Purchaser to manage our scrap material procurement process. The Purchaser will be responsible for purchasing metal scrap materials, dealing with customers, monitor weighments, making records, Data entry in software, Inventory system and to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of our recycling facility.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of metal scrap materials.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best deals.
• Monitor market trends update purchase manager
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Conduct regular audits of suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in purchasing (training will be given)
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Age below 35 – Should speak English/Urdu and Arabic.
Preferred:
• Experience in the metal scrap recycling industry.
• Knowledge of local and international scrap metal markets.
• Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes.
