Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in ELV technology. Perform preventive maintenance on ELV systems to ensure their proper functioning. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with ELV systems and recommend appropriate solutions. Install, maintain, and repair electrical, low voltage, and electronic systems. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm systems, and structured cabling.
• Ensure all installations comply with industry standards and project specifications.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of ELV systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair faults in ELV systems promptly.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of ELV systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.


• Use testing equipment to verify system performance and integrity.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and system configurations.
• Prepare and submit reports on project progress and system performance.
• Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical support.
• Provide training to clients on the operation and maintenance of ELV systems.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed

Qualifications

• Knowledge of installing and maintaining structured cabling systems, including Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a cables.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment for cable installation.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as TIA/EIA and BICSI.


• Skills in installing, terminating, and splicing fiber optic cables.
• Ability to use testing equipment such as OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer) and power meters.
• Knowledge of fiber optic cable management and routing techniques.
• Experience in installing and configuring time and attendance systems.
• Understanding of biometric and RFID technologies.
• Ability to integrate time and attendance systems with other HR and payroll software.
• Proficiency in installing and maintaining access control systems, including card readers, biometric scanners, and electronic locks.
• Knowledge of system integration with other security systems like CCTV and alarm systems.
• Skills in configuring access control software and managing user credentials.
• Experience in installing and configuring PABX (Private Automatic Branch Exchange) systems.
• Understanding of VoIP (Voice over IP) technologies and traditional telephony.
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain PABX systems and related hardware.
• Knowledge of installing and maintaining fire alarm systems, public address systems, Music Systems and building management systems.
• Skills in using diagnostic tools and software for various ELV systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
