*Job Overview:*
As a Fixed Assets Data Collector, you will be responsible for accurately gathering, organizing, and maintaining data related to fixed assets within our organization. Your primary objective will be to ensure that all fixed assets are properly accounted for, documented, and tracked throughout their lifecycle. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

*Key Responsibilities:*
1. Conduct physical audits of fixed assets across various locations, including but not limited to equipment, machinery, vehicles, and property.
2. Record and verify essential information such as asset tags, serial numbers, descriptions, locations, and condition of fixed assets.
3. Collaborate with relevant departments to collect and update data on acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation of fixed assets.
4. Maintain accurate records of fixed asset transactions and ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
5. Utilize asset management software or spreadsheets to input, organize, and analyze data effectively.
6. Perform periodic reconciliations and audits to identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in fixed asset records.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and accuracy of fixed asset data management.
8. Generate reports and provide insights to management regarding the status, value, and utilization of fixed assets.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams during internal and external audits to provide documentation and support as needed.
10. Stay updated on industry best practices, trends, and technologies related to fixed asset management.

*Qualifications:*
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or related field preferred.
2. Proven experience in fixed asset management, data collection, or related role.
3. Proficiency in using asset management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and Microsoft Excel.
4. Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
5. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

*Work Environment:*
This position requires travel to different locations within the client’s network. With extensive exposure to warehouses, manufacturing facilities, or outdoor spaces during asset audits.
