An Indoor Salesman plays a vital role in promoting and selling food wholesale items within a designated area. Their primary focus is on maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and attracting new customers. Below are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this position:

Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction: Interact with customers who visit the wholesale outlet, understand their requirements, and recommend suitable food products.
Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the range of food items available, including their features, pricing, and quality.
Order Processing: Process customer orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery.
Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels, restock shelves, and maintain a well-organized display.
Pricing and Discounts: Provide information on pricing, discounts, and special offers.
Customer Service: Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure overall satisfaction.
Sales Targets: Work towards achieving sales targets set by the management.
Upselling: Suggest additional products or complementary items to enhance the customer’s purchase.
Payment Handling: Collect payments and issue receipts.
Documentation: Maintain records of sales transactions and customer interactions.

Requirements and Skills:

Experience: 3 Years Prior experience in sales, preferably in the food industry.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
Product Knowledge: Familiarity with various food products and their applications.
Negotiation: Ability to negotiate prices and terms.
Customer-Centric: Customer-focused approach with a friendly demeanor.
Math Skills: Basic math skills for handling payments.
Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to team success.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
