MIYAR took birth from a desire for excellence in food industry. Having realized the importance of bringing more quality oriented food business, and the potential of Bahrain which is located in the heart of Gulf having direct access to the promising GCC market consisting of over 53 million consumers, it was in mid 2016 the MIYAR Core Team began to ponder to invest for a quality secondary food processing entity contributing to the sustainable food security.

Accordingly, unifying the diverse backgrounds, the MIYAR Core Team started the establishment of MIYAR in early 2017 in a way to challenge the status quo and setting the benchmark for quality in the food sector. MIYAR is differentiated for direct sourcing raw food commodities from the farmers in the respective origin countries during harvesting seasons and then quality storing, processing and putting into retail packing with quality certifications as Bahraini processed brand selling locally as well as in export markets.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Engineer at Miyar Factory for Foods located in Muharraq. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of electrical projects and provide technical support for manufacturing processes. Working hours will be from 8am to 5pm from Saturday to Thursday.


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Proven experience in electrical engineering and design (2 years experience)
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, principles, and safety standards
Proficiency in electrical design software and tools
Experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Valid visa is required
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
