EXPERIENCE: 5+ YEARS IN THE METAL TESTING FILED

ORGANISATION STRUCTURE

REPORTS TO: GEO TECHNICAL ENGINEER

Hands On Experience With Equipment
• Stereomicroscope
• Metallurgical equipment
• Cutting saw, Grinders
• Optical Emission spectroscopy
• Hardness Tester
• Calipers, Micrometers
• Vickers Harness tester
• Micro Hardness tester
• Charpy Impact Test
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Failure Investigations
• Micro hardness survey
• Metallographic study
• Image analysis software
• OES Chemical analysis
• Micro Structure Analysis
• ASTM, ASME, BS, AWS, etc., standards
• Mechanical Testing
o Tensile Test
o Charpy Impact Test
o Hardness Test – Marco and Micro
o Bend Test & Rebend Test
o Macro and Micro Structure Analysis
o Nick Break Test
o Fracture Test
o Field Hardness Test
o Ferrite Test
o Replica Metallography
• Uncertainty Calculation
• Quality Management System – ISO 9001 & ISO 17025
• Making the Machine Shop Request with respect to the Test specimen requirement.
