A leading travel agency in Bahrain representing an Airline GSA is recruiting a highly skilled and experienced Travel Consultant to join our team .The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of working experience in the travel industry and a strong passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Assist clients in planning and booking Travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and tours.
• Provide expert advice on travel destinations, attractions, and visa requirements.
• Handle inquiries and resolve issues related to bookings, cancellations, and changes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, travel regulations, and new technologies to enhance service offerings.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and client information.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Travel Agent or similar role for 3-5 years.
• Strong knowledge of travel booking systems and reservation software (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, LCC).
• IATA Qualified
• Should have an understanding of the Bahrain Market
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Fluency in additional languages (Arabic) is a plus.
• Certification from a recognized travel agency association is desirable.
