Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in structural re projects.
* A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Skilled in using AutoCAD & MS Office tools. Analyzing plans, bills of quantities and other project documentation in order to estimate costs.
* Ability to work well within a team, providing support and guidance when necessary.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and project requirements.
* Ability to suggest improvements in processes for increased efficiency and cost savings.
* High ethical standards and professional integrity.
* Possession of professional Quantity Surveying certifications would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

* Analyzing plans, bills of quantities and other project documentation in order to estimate costs.
* Preparing material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service
* Creating labor estimates for any project
* Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors
* Managing bids from vendors and contractors
* Using bid data to prepare detailed a cost analysis
* Ability to prepare invoices, variations and cost reports
