Description

We are looking for a accountant with FMCG experience.

• Provide effective leadership to finance and accounting areas of the firm.
• Guide the team with effective financial insights to help make better decisions about formulating and executing strategy, to improve results.
• Maintain system of accounts and keep books, ledgers and records on all transactions and assets.
• Prepare and analyze accurate monthly financial and management reports, including income statement, balance sheet, budget and variance, projections and forecast, and cash flow.
• Analyze and supervise the Accounts Department and assign jobs relevant to accounts payable and accounts receivable and have a regular monitoring of the same.
• Prepare a variety of ad hoc financial scenarios as requested or on demand.
• Ensure that all financial transactions are processed accurately, in a timely manner, and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and the norms of the company along with the laws and regulations of the country as a whole.
• Develop, implement, and maintain processes and control the accounts at par to the current best practices related to transaction and processing including payroll, accounts payable, receivable, revenue and expense, fixed assets, cash, bank reconciliations, and allocations.
• Perform daily, weekly and month-end closing procedures, including overhead allocations, account reconciliations, and updating schedules.
• Receive reports from the team on a daily basis regarding the cash and credit transactions.
• Review and conduct regular meetings with the accounts team to analyze the current scenario and the future planning of the accounts department.
• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system that is updated every day.
• Every single transaction should comply through the online portals including the bank statement on a daily basis. The online transactions and processes should be monitored and verified with the manual receipts, deposit slips and all the required financial documents in support to the said transactions or processes.
• Maintain a regular verification of the customer’s banking and transaction details associated to our firm by having a parallel contact with the customer or the company’s accounts department after every single transaction.
