Job Summary:
A hot kitchen chef is responsible for overseeing the preparation, cooking, and presentation of hot food items in a professional kitchen. The hot kitchen chef is also responsible for managing the kitchen staff, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and ensuring efficient operations.

Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute the preparation, cooking, and plating of hot food items according to established recipes and standards.
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and training as needed.
* Ensure that all food items are prepared and cooked to the highest quality standards, taking into account taste, presentation, and portion control.
* Monitor and maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, and place orders as necessary.
* Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling, storage, and labeling of food items.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to develop and update menus, taking into consideration seasonal ingredients, customer preferences, and dietary restrictions.
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including regular cleaning of equipment, utensils, and work areas.
* Monitor and control food costs by minimizing waste and ensuring efficient use of ingredients.
