Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Server Administrator to join our IT team and manage our critical server infrastructure. You will be responsible for the smooth operation, security, and optimization of our AWS servers and various shared Linux environments.

Responsibilities:

Server Management:
Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers on AWS and other shared platforms (e.g., cPanel, Plesk).
Manage disk space, user accounts, security permissions, and system resources.
Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
Implement system monitoring tools and troubleshoot performance issues.
Apply security patches and updates to ensure system integrity.
Cloud Management:
Develop and manage AWS environments including EC2 instances, S3 storage, RDS databases, and other relevant services.
Optimize cloud resource utilization for cost-effectiveness.
Implement automation scripts and tools for cloud resource management.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support to internal teams regarding server-related issues.
Work with developers and security teams to ensure application stability and security.
Document server configurations and procedures for future reference.
Qualifications:

2-5 years of experience in server administration, ideally with AWS and various shared Linux environments.
Strong understanding of Linux operating systems (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian).
Experience with scripting languages like Bash or Python for automation.
Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and AWS services.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a secure and reliable server environment.
