Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated draftsman to join our team on a project contract basis. As a draftsman, your primary responsibilities will include creating comprehensive sets of working drawings and providing supervision for small projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and detailed working drawings in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure drawings align with design intent and meet regulatory standards.
Conduct thorough reviews of drawings to identify potential errors or discrepancies and make necessary revisions.
Provide on-site supervision for small projects, ensuring construction activities align with approved drawings and adhere to project timelines.
Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors, addressing any technical issues or concerns that may arise during the construction process.
Maintain meticulous documentation of project progress, including drawing revisions, site inspections, and project milestones.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a draftsman, ideally within the construction industry.
Proficiency in industry-standard drafting software and tools.
Strong knowledge of construction principles, building codes, and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
