Waiter / Bartender Key Responsibilities:
• Take guest orders and providing recommendations when asked.
• Help to other waiters/waitresses as assigned if the bar is not busy.
• Upselling drinks to maximize profits.
• Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines.
• Check customer’s identification to confirm age using alcohol (as per tourism rules and regulations).
• Invent great quality drinks and serving food to our guests.
• Educating customers on our menu concept and ingredients we use.
• Providing excellent and timely customer service.
• Keep bar clean and tidy at all times, help the FOH team to clean the tables once guests leave the table.
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Stocking the bar inventory when needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Manager
• Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences. Planning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials. Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers out of the counter.
• Follow all the recipes standards
• Upsell skills
• Follow the system FIFO: first in first out to avoit waste of beverages
• Check if all the equipment of the bar and bar’s storage is working properly
• Monitor during the operation if all the beverage orders are in the system
• Duoble check the bill with all the beverage orders before to show to the guest
• Check with the Bar Captain the monthly inventory to learn all the bar products
• Check the quality of fresh products of the bar daily
• Report to the Manager extra daily expenses of the bar
• Report to the manager any malfunction of the bar
• Higly sense of cooperation and responsabiliy.
• Report daily breakage of equipment
